“No Racing Until August” – Sensicall

Posted

Coventry Cycle Speedway racer Tom Sensicall has confirmed that he will be out of action until late August after his nasty spill in Sunday’s Midland League Division 1 clash with Leicester.

Ironically from Leicester, Sensicall was involved in a crash with Leicester’s Damian Pelaczyk when attempting to round the Polish youngster on bend 3. Sensicall took a heavy fall and initial fears were that the 27 year old had broken his collarbone.

However after an x-ray at the local hospital, no break was confirmed – though Sensicall has admitted that the shoulder is very sore and hard to move.

Sensicall’s absence opens the door for some of Coventry’s junior riders to stamp their mark on the first team with the likes of Matt Hambridge, Charlie Barnett and Shaun Reynolds all gunning for a first team spot.
