Coventry`s home grown Cycle Speedway star Myke Grimes has made the final Great Britain eight man team for the Hearsall Common staged 3rd Test match on Thursday 6th August.
Grimes, a 30 year old IT worker at Caludon Castle school, has won the call-up after a season of sustained top scoring performances for Coventry and a recent starring display for England in the Home International.
The inclusion of Grimes, who has recently won idividual backing from Law & Moore Solicitors, seals a perfect event for the host Coventry club. Team manager Lee Marsh said: `Myke`s selection is the icing on the cake. He will have tremendous backing from all our club members and all our supporters. It rounds off what will be a tremendous evening for us”.
