Party On With Coventry Cycle Speedway!

Party on – that’s the message from club members at Coventry Cycle Speedway as they travel in their masses to Ipswich this weekend for the British Cycle Speedway Finals.

Coventry riders Myke Grimes, Daniel Drewett, Josh Marsh, Ollie Morris, Jimmy Walsall, Sammie Marsh and Jack Reynolds will all be competing in their respective finals – and the #CovArmy are anticipating a blockbuster weekend of action.

Over 20 members of the Coventry Club will be pitching up at East Anglia’s Great Blakenham track – to support their teams efforts in the national championships. The following is the largest support Coventry Cycle Speedway had produced for nearly four decades, and plenty of planning is already underway to make the weekend a memorable one.

Club Chairman Dave Foster has already announced his intention to voice his guitar as Coventry host on of their famous party’s – campfire style – on the Saturday evening.

A Coventry Club Spokesman said: “This weekend promises to be a standout event of the 2015 season. The party we hosted on the centre green following the third test match between TeamGB and Australia will be something, as a club, we’ll always remember.

“We’re looking forward to spending the weekend in the company of some great heroes and look forward to the British Championships where we’ll be supporting our riders across the age categories.”
