Coventry`s Elite League hopes have suffered a major blow with reports emerging from Poland late on Thursday night that their World junior number two Michal Sassek has broken a leg in a training accident in his hometown of Leszno in Poland.
Team manager Lee Marsh said: “We have been receiving texts from Michal and pictures of his leg in plaster although there is a language barrier. If the injury is confirmed, it’s a major blow for us”.
