Popular nationwide restaurant Frankie & Benny’s hosted a pre test match photo shoot on Monday night as international riders Myke Grimes, Bobby McMillan and Sammie Marsh posed for the cameras.
Frankie & Benny’s has become one of the most recognisable food outlets in the UK and since opening their first restaurant in 1995, have made great strides as a business and now cater in over 200 venues.
For Grimes, aged 30, it will be his first appearance in a GB shirt whilst racing at his home venue. Great Britain will take on Australia in the third and final test match on August 6th with the Men’s meeting getting underway at 7:15pm.
Said Grimes on his official website “Frankie and Benny’s are sponsoring the GB v Australia test match at Hearsall Common, they will be welcome the Australian tourists for a meal on the afternoon of the big meeting on Thursday 6th August 2015.
“The test matches themselves start at 5pm for the women’s and 7:15pm for the seniors. It’s going to be mega, I can’t wait!”
For girl racer Sammie Marsh it will be the biggest step in her Cycle Speedway career so far. Marsh began racing in 2012 and in the last 12 months has made great strides in the sport and is now recognised as one of the countries top Cycle Speedway athletes.
